Salisbury Cathedral
Salisbury Cathedral is unique amongst medieval English cathedrals, built within one century with no substantial later additions. The building itself is remarkable, a testimony to the faith and practical skills of those who erected it.

The Spire of Salisbury Cathedral
The tallest in England at 123m (404ft) - soars to the heavens, and marked a revolution in cathedral architecture when it was built 800 years ago. In the Chapter House, you will see the Magna Carta, the famous agreement made between King John and his barons at Runnymede in 1215.

Oldest Clock in The World
Salisbury Cathedral holds the oldest working medieval clock in the world. It was made by 1386 and was originally installed in the detached Bell Tower. It is made from hand-wrought iron. As is usual for this period there is no face, the clock being designed only to strike hours.

Sunday services are held at 8am, 9.15am 10.30am and 3pm.
